5 Tips for successful selling on Artmosfair

1. Taking pictures

This is one of the most important steps you can take as an artist when wanting to sell on Artmosfair. When shopping online your customers will not be able to physically touch and feel your artwork which is why taking good quality pictures is essential. Good lighting and clear images are just a few of the factors that need to be in place in order to get a good photo. Make sure you also take pictures from different angles with a simple background that doesn’t take away the focus from the actual item. Remember, the customer needs to feel like they have picked up the item and looked at it in real life. Without good pictures you won’t be able to market your beautiful art the way it deserves.

2. Product pricing

Knowing the worth of your art is crucial when pricing your items on Artmosfair. You have to keep in mind the time you have put into making it and the costs of materials as well as how much it costs to ship. Make sure your pricing is realistic and shows the true value of your craftsmanship.

3. Branding

Without proper branding you will not be able to stand out from the crowd. On Artmosfair.com we have many talented artists all with the same vision – to sell their art to art lovers all around the world. If you want to become a successful seller you need to have a clear vision of what you want your brand to be. Remember consistency is key so make sure you stick with your plan once you know what you want.

4. Social Media Marketing

With beautiful pictures of your art, realistic product pricing and a clear branding strategy you are ready to market your shop. On Artmosfair.com we do our best to market the site and attract new customers but if you want to attract customers to your shop you need to market it too. Social media marketing is a great way to market your shop and art since the target group will already be active on the internet hence it will be easier to get them to buy from an online shop. Sites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are just examples of places where you can start marketing your shop and gain visibility. Through social media you can not only attract new potential customers but also build relationships with them. This step, believe it or not, is crucial since good relationships with customers leads to loyalty. Make sure all your social media accounts are integrated and all lead back to your Artmosfair shop.

5. Provide good customer service

Once you have attracted your first customers you need to provide good customer service. Keep your customers up to date with the status of their order, from start to finish. Small gestures like sending a confirmation email after they have made a purchase or writing them a note in their packages will take you a long way in establishing a great customer relationship. With happy customers you can gain great word-of-mouth advertising and in the end attract new potential buyers.

With following these 5 tips you will be able to get a good start to selling on Artmosfair. To learn more about becoming a good seller make sure you subscribe to our blog and follow us on our social media accounts. The Artmosfair team wishes you great success in your future selling.

Morocco

As you might know the Idea of Artmosfair was born on a trip to Morocco and we love this colorful and vivid, but still very untouched country. It is not our aim to describe facts about Morocco here as you can find all facts about this country on Wikipedia or other relevant places. Here we´ll share the country with you as we experienced it. To travel directly from central Europe to Morocco feels like you suddenly are back to 1800. We saw in this beautiful country that almost everything is still made manually and by handcraft and that was really fascinating. Wise people have said that a photo says more tan 1000 words and it cannot be more true so we´ve picked some pics from the camera to show you a Little bit of this country which we call “Rough Diamond”. Hope you enjoy them as much as we did;-) but still we have the best and most beautiful pics in our mind! and unfortunately we cannot share them :-(
